Everything is booked and secured.

Your trip is put into a mobile itinerary so you can review all details whenever you please.

Fee Structure
Hotel Bookings | Quick Assistance - Complimentary
Hotel Bookings | Consultation - $100 per hotel
For trips of 4 nights or less, this deposit will be retained as a booking fee.
For trips of 5+ nights, the deposit will be refunded after travel has been completed.
Flight Bookings - $50 per ticket
Itinerary Planning - Ranges from $150 to $500 per adult for up to two weeks of travel (kids pricing available) along with hotel booking fees & flight fees noted above.

Why should I book my trip with you?
A lot of us like to plan our own travel and, of course, that makes sense. But there are so many perks that can be offered when booking through a travel advisor such as amenities, VIP status, logistics, consultation, first-hand knowledge, and more. Let me narrow down the options, present the best choices, organize the trip, handle transportation and touring, and ensure everything is seamless.
I can just book my hotel online. Why should I do it through you and why is it free?
Why wouldn’t you book your hotel through me? When booking through me, you get the VIP status, the possibility of additional amenities, and the hotel team’s knowledge of your arrival and preferences. It’s free because hotels pay travel advisors commission - as simple as that. The rate you see online and the rate through a travel agent will be the same (or possibly lower with me).
I prefer using Amex to book my trips. Why should I use you?
Amex offers a completely different level of service. I guarantee that you will get a higher level of service at each hotel when you book through Savage Travel.
What destinations do you plan?
Everywhere around the world! The world is quite literally your oyster when booking through Savage Travel. I’ve planned or proposed itineraries on every continent and feel comfortable with any kind of trip - from a leisure beach vacation to a safari and everything in between.
What’s the deal with using points?
As a travel advisor, I am not able to book through credit card points or airline credits. You would have to book those on your own. No additional amenities or VIP status will be included.
How do I pay for my trip?
Each hotel, transportation company, tour company, airline, etc. is to be paid directly. Savage Travel will not front any payments on your behalf. The itinerary planning fee or hotel consultation fee is due before the initial planning email is sent and is non-refundable. This fee goes directly to Savage Travel for the time spent on planning.
Do you suggest travel insurance?
Travel insurance is always smart. Life happens and it’s better to be protected. I am not a travel insurance expert but I can put you in touch with a great partner who can answer all of your questions.
I like planning, can I be involved?
Absolutely! You can be as involved as you wish. This is your vacation so whether you want every second planned or nothing planned, we can work with you!
Is there a minimum spend?
I specialize in luxury travel so the minimum spend starts at about $1,000 per night for hotels and then goes up from there. If the trip does not fall into the luxury category, I will let you know so that you can find another travel advisor who specializes in the planning necessary for your itinerary.
Can I cancel my trip?
We understand that life happens and changes may occur. Each partner (hotels, transfer companies, tour companies, airlines, etc.) have their own cancellation and deposit policies. These are set independently of Savage Travel and we must abide by each policy. The planning fee is non-refundable as time was already spent planning your trip. We can start planning another trip for another set of dates but this will require another planning fee.
